New Years Eve in Brussels, Istanbul and Bahamas!

As a precursor to my bigger travels to Southeast Asia in February, I had the pleasure of traveling throughout Europe and the Bahamas staying with friends.  In fact, out of 21 days of travel, I only had to pay for lodging three nights (when we all staying in an apartment in Brussels for NYE).  I enjoyed spending time with friends in Germany, my coworker from My Cali days and her awesome family in Belgium, a new couchsurfing friend in Istanbul, an old college friend in Ankara and Mom's best German friend, Barbara, in the Bahamas.  I love having wonderful friends all over the world!  Here are a few of my favorite pictures from these recent travels:
